Cotojikara — Terms of Service
Version: 2026-10-28
1. Who these terms are between
These terms govern your use of Cotojikara (the "Service"), operated by CAZGA global (the "Operator", "we", "us"), a trade name used by a sole proprietorship based in Japan.
By using the Service you agree to these terms.
Your purchase is a separate matter. The Service is sold through Link, LLC ("Link"), a Stripe company, acting as the merchant of record. When you subscribe, the sale contract for that purchase is between you and Link, on Link's terms, and your receipt will say Sold through Link. These terms govern how you may use the Service; they do not replace or override Link's terms for the transaction itself.
2. Who may use the Service
- The Service is for one individual person. A subscription grants access to the person who created the account, and to no one else.
- You may not share, lend, sell, or transfer your account, or let anyone else use the Service through it. This holds regardless of who paid for the subscription.
- You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.
2.1 Not available in Japan
The Service is not offered to persons resident in Japan. If a subscription is created with a Japanese billing address, we will cancel it and refund the payment in full.
This is not a judgement about you. It follows from how the Service is sold: the merchant-of-record arrangement we rely on does not cover domestic sales inside Japan, which would leave the tax handling in a different place than the rest of the world.
3. Subscription, billing, and cancellation
- The Service is sold as a monthly subscription, priced in US dollars.
- The listed price does not include tax. Sales tax, VAT, or GST is added at checkout according to where you are, and is calculated and collected by Link.
- Your billing cycle runs from the day you subscribe.
- You can cancel at any time, through Link — from the link on your receipt, or from the customer portal Link provides. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.
- We do not pro-rate. A cancellation part-way through a paid month does not produce a partial refund from us.
- Refunds are handled by Link, under Link's policy, and Link may issue a refund without our approval. We may also ask Link to refund you at our discretion. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
- What a subscription includes. Up to 20 consultations per calendar month, each running for up to 25 exchanges (your message and the Service's reply together make one exchange). A consultation is counted when you start it; the exchanges inside it do not use up further consultations. The count resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC) — it does not follow your billing date — and unused consultations do not carry over. When you reach either limit, the Service tells you and stops there.
- If a payment fails, access to the Service is suspended until the payment goes through. This is not the end of your subscription: Section 8.5 counts from the day a subscription ends, not from a failed payment.
4. What you may not do
You may not:
- Ask for, extract, copy, or reconstruct the Service's internal instructions, system prompt, or configuration.
- Cause the Service to reproduce, verbatim or at length, the written material it draws on.
- Attempt to override its instructions or change its role in order to make it operate outside its design (jailbreaking).
- Repeat any of the above in altered form after the Service or we have refused or warned you.
- Resell the Service's output, pass it on as a service to third parties, or use it to build or train a competing service.
- Use the Service for anything unlawful.
5. If you break these terms
- We may, without prior notice, record the conversation in question, warn you, suspend your account, or end your access.
- We are not liable for loss arising from those measures.
- Amounts already paid are not refunded on a pro-rata basis where access ends for this reason.
6. What the Service is, and is not
- The Service produces a marketing plan built from what you tell it. It is material for your own judgement. Every decision you take remains yours.
- The Service does not give legal, tax, customs, trade-compliance, corporate-formation, intellectual-property, or financing advice, and does not act on your behalf in any of them. Where you need those, consult a qualified professional.
- We do not warrant that the output is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
- The Service is built on the thinking of Taro Kasuga, Principal & Chief Value Architect at CAZGA global. It is not him, and its output is not his professional opinion.
7. What you produce with it is yours
- We claim no copyright or other intellectual property right in the output of the Service — the plans, analyses, and directions produced through your conversations with it.
- You may use that output freely in running your business and making your decisions.
- Section 4.5 still applies: not for resale, not as a service to third parties, not for training a competitor.
8. Your conversations
- Your conversations with the Service are recorded and stored, on the infrastructure of an external AI platform provider that holds international security certifications (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR), encrypted at rest.
- Those records may be processed on servers outside your country, including outside Japan.
- We may use those records to improve the quality of the Service, to detect abuse, and to understand what people need from it.
- The Service lets you export and save your own conversations. Save what you need. We do not guarantee that a conversation can be restored or supplied again after it ends.
- One year after your subscription ends, we delete the conversation records we hold — those on the platform above and the backups we keep separately.
- ⚠️ This is a limit we place on ourselves, not a promise that your conversations stay readable for a year. Section 8.4 still governs: save what you need.
- ⚠️ The deletion covers records we hold. It does not reach internal backups kept by the platform provider, or the inputs and outputs retained by the provider of the AI model under its own terms.
- Where the law where you live gives you a right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, we follow the law. See the Privacy Policy.
9. Confidentiality, both ways
- You will not disclose, without good reason, non-public information about the Service that you learn by using it — its internal design, how its pricing was arrived at, and the like.
- We will not disclose, without good reason, the non-public information about your business that you give the Service — what you make, who you sell to, your numbers, your plans. This is subject to Section 8 and to disclosure required by law.
10. Suspension and discontinuation
- We may suspend the Service, in whole or in part, without prior notice, for maintenance or other operational necessity.
- We may discontinue the Service as a business decision. If we do, we will try to give reasonable notice.
- We are not liable for loss arising from suspension or discontinuation.
11. Limit of our liability
Where we are liable to you in connection with the Service, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the month in which the cause arose — unless the loss was caused by our intent or gross negligence. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. If we do, we will show you the new version and ask you to agree to it. Until you agree, we may stop providing the Service.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Japan. Disputes will be brought before the district court having jurisdiction over the Operator's address, as the court of first instance by exclusive agreement.
⚠️ If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country where you live may give you rights, and a forum, that this section cannot take away. In that case, that law applies.
14. If part of this is unenforceable
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
15. What survives
If your account ends, your subscription ends, or the Service is discontinued, Sections 4, 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, and 14 remain in force. The obligation in Section 9 survives for three years.
16. If the business changes hands
If we transfer this business to a third party, or incorporate, we may transfer our position under these terms — our rights, our obligations, and the information relating to you — to the successor. You agree to this in advance.
17. How to reach us
